Requirements:

Duties:

* To be able to offer professional, helpful, high quality service.
* Process orders.
* Suggest information about products and services to meet customer’s needs.
* Answer sales calls in a prompt efficient and professional manner.
* Update special prices and online ordering platforms.
* Assist in completing tenders.
* Dealing with customer complaints via email and telephone.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Any other duties your line manager deems relevant to the smooth operation of the department.

SALES ANALYST - FULL TIME ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a role within this company that currently does not exist.

We are looking for a proactive individual who is degree level educated preferably, but more importantly has excellent Microsoft Office skills and is exceptional in Excel especially with formulas. It would be advantageous if the individual has some kind of Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) qualification or is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for analysing our largest e-commerce accounts. They will assist in the sales process through data analysis, developing methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data. Within our B2B business sector they will be closely studying and analysing past sales data to determine trends in productivity. Conducting research and monitoring the competition and the surrounding market. Evaluating the sales team performance by area and forecasting sales.

You will be preparing and submitting reports based on collected data and your conclusions to the UK board of Directors and C.E.O. It will be down to the individual to have self-drive to build upon this role using their knowledge and experience in what is a very friendly family orientated organization, currently in a period of strong growth.

You may in addition to the above be requested to take part in specific tasks which may involve you working away from the office and/or outside of normal business hours.

COMPUTER PROGRAMMER - FULL TIME ROLE

We are looking for a meticulous and technically skilled Computer Programmer to develop and maintain our organisation's systems software, computing infrastructure and company online web services.

This role would ideally suit a recent graduate or someone who like to further their programming skills and experience within a commercial environment.

The Computer Programmer's duties will include creating new programs to a specification and updating existing programs, identifying and fixing defects, generating reports and developing in-house software.

Additional IT responsibilities will include software and hardware installation and technical support.

The ideal candidate for this role must possess university level coding skills, excellent communication, high concentration levels, good task management, and good problem-solving skills.

The candidate will be programming in the ‘Progress’ language. Full training will be given in using Progress open edge. Ideally previous experience in any other language (e.g. Java, Python) will be enough to transition to this required programming language.

Computer Programmer Responsibilities:

* Coding and debugging.
* Designing and testing computer structures.
* Troubleshooting system errors.
* Writing computer instructions.
* Editing source-code.
* Providing technical support for created programs.


Ideal Candidate Requirements:

* Computer Programming at university level.
* Expert IT skills.
* Strong aptitude for math.
* Analytical and problem solving skills.
* JavaScript and HTML experience.
* Familiarity with source control, preferably Git.
* Some understanding of database structures and administration.
* Aptitude for learning new technology.
* Deadline driven.
* Good communication skills.
